CVA students have access to technology to help them in their coursework. An important piece of this technology are our student-issued Chrombooks laptops. However, students are also responsible for the care of this device. We understand that accidents happen, so CVA recommends purchasing device insurance through Securranty.
As noted by Securranty, one drop or spill can cost $100 – $300 or more to repair a device. Securranty offers coverage for as low as $28.95 per year with unlimited claims for 1 year of coverage.

- Accidental damage – drops, cracks, and liquid spills
- Flood, fire, and vandalism
- Malfunction, including motherboard failure
- Theft and burglar, including AC Adapter

- Intentional damage
- Abuse
- Misuse
