Login Information
Chromebook Access
CVA students have access to technology to help them in their coursework. An important piece of this technology are our student-issued Chrombooks laptops. Students will need to know their login information in order to use their Chromebook.
HOW TO LOG INTO YOUR CHROMEBOOK
Username
Each student has a unique school email address that also serves as their username for Chromebook access. Student email addresses consist of the following information:
Student First Name + Last Name Initial + Graduation Year + the domain suffix @s.csd28j.org
For example: If my name is Elmer Eagle and my graduation year is 2031, my username and email address is elmere2031@s.csd28j.org – First Name “elmer” + Last Name Initial “e” + Graduation Year “2031” + Domain Suffix “@s.csd28j.org” = elmere2031@s.csd28j.org
Password
Student ID Numbers serve as the student’s Chromebook password.
For example: If my Student ID Number is 565656, then my password is 565656.
Example Summary: If my name is Elmer Eagle, my graduation year is 2031, and my Student ID Number is 565656, then my username/email adress is elmere2031@s.csd28j.org and my password is 565656.
Edgenuity (Edge) Access
CVA students will need to log into different apps to access their learning tools: Edgenuity (Edge) and Clever.
Edge is an online learning management system and digital curriculum platform used CVA. Students will access Edge to complete coursework.
To access Edge, students will need to navigate to the District’s Clever page. Clever is a secure digital portal and single-sign-on (SSO) platform used by CVA to give students and teachers access to all their online learning apps.
The login information to access Clever and Edge is different from a student’s Chromebook username and email address.
Students will need to know their Student ID Number to log into Clever and Edge.
For example: If my Student ID Number is 565656, then my username to log into Clever and Edge will be 565656@s.csd28j.org and my password will be 565656.
