FlexPASS Guidelines & Eligibility

 

FlexPASS 

Flexible (Personalized, Adaptive, Student Scheduling)

FlexPASS allows Centennial High School and Centennial Virtual Academy students the opportunity to participate in courses On-Ground or Online, while remaining in their program of choice. Open to students grade 9-12.

Revocation Policy: Privileges may be revoked for attendance violations, code of conduct violations, falling off track to graduate, or insufficient course progress. Students who lose privileges will attend the Learning Lab in-person for the remainder of the semester.

    • Can take up to 2 CVA Learning Lab courses
    • Must register for a Learning Lab during each FlexPASS period (max 2)
    • Go to the CHS Lecture Room Learning Lab OR leave campus within 5 minutes of the bell (during FlexPASS period(s)) 
    • 3.0+ GPA*
    • 90%+ attendance
    • On track for graduation (6+ credits per school year)
    • No major referrals
    • Must have a personal need to work off-campus
    • Must make 10%+ weekly progress in Edgenuity
    • No new CVA courses after Week 9

    *GPA requirement does not apply to full-time CVA students requesting up to 2 periods of on-ground instruction.

    • Can take up to 2 in-person CHS classes
    • Must attend CHS during scheduled class period(s)
    • Must check in and out at the CHS Main Office each day
    • Must be approved to attend CHS for scheduled classes
       

    • Take 7 total courses per semester
    • Parent/caregiver permission required
    • Counselor approval 
    • FlexPASS Coordinator and Principal approval 
    • Signed Drive Permission Form if driving to/from campus
    • May need to attend in person for tests, finals, assessments, or staff meetings
    • Apply before Week 4 of the current term
    • Transportation is not provided for FlexPASS. Parent/Guardian agrees to release and allow their student to travel to/from school on their own.
